Kamloops Idea Festival will be from 9am to 12pm on Saturday Jan 12th at
the Irving Barber Centre at TRU.

The Kamloops Idea festival
is an opportunity for Kamloops citizens to get a broad overview of
what’s happening in town, to dialogue with each other over community
issues, and to get inspired about the many opportunities we have to
collaborate and work together.
The festival will go for three hours and will consist of:
- short “lightning” talks about a diverse range of innovative Kamloops
initiatives - from the business, social services, cultural, arts, and
other communities.
- small group dialogues on community issues
- short performances by Kamloops musicians
- a volunteer “fair” showcasing some awesome volunteer opportunities in the community.
The goals of the Kamloops Idea Festival:
- to allow another opportunity for Kamloopsians to get to know each other
- to allow Kamloopsians an easy way to learn about a diverse range of local activities
- to guide the 2013 work of Councillor Arjun Singh
- to have fun while thinking more deeply about our community
